2024 Conference Scholarship Opportunities

The Food as Medicine Global Conference provides a culturally inclusive curriculum and collaborative engagement experience featuring inspiring leaders working in the intersections of food, health, community, social justice, and planetary wellbeing.

The scholarships award offers recipients a complimentary registration to the 2024 Food as Medicine Global Conference.

There is no monetary award connected to the scholarships.

General Scholarships

These scholarships are designed to ensure that a diverse range of voices and perspectives are represented at our event. Whether you're a student, early-career professional, or someone passionate about the intersections of food, health, and social justice, we encourage you to apply.


 Integrative Medicine Fellowship Scholarships 

Eligibility Requirements: 

  • Graduate or currently enrolled in an Integrative Medicine fellowship program approved by the American Board of Integrative Medicine. See list here.
  • Willingness to complete a post conference survey.
  • Availability to attend the conference.

Scholarship Goals: By receiving a scholarship and participating in the Food as Medicine Global education conference:

  • Integrative Medicine Fellows gain a deeper understanding of the root causes of food insecurity to better support patients and provide more comprehensive approaches to nutritional therapy, health promotion, and illness prevention.

  • Integrative Medicine Fellows learn about best practices for collaborating with farmers and other food producers, nonprofit organizations, and community initiatives to address food equity issues through equitable and culturally appropriate food programs and systems. 

The Integrative Medicine Fellowship scholarships are made possible through generous funding from the Weil Foundation
